The Role

At Criterion, we have a team of Sponsorship Managers who are all about creating high-level engagement between senior decision-makers and solution providers. Sponsorship Managers are responsible for identifying and securing sponsorship with providers and suppliers of relevant solutions and services for our events. We generally focus on the government, health, education, financial services, aged care, not-for-profit sectors. Sponsorship managers build and maintain relationships with c-level executives, high-level decision makers, and sales and marketing experts. These relationships are fostered through consultative and solution-based selling, and also working collaboratively with other departments (conference producers, marketing, etc) to produce great results.

Who we’re looking for:

We like to work with people who are driven, career-focused, over-achievers that enjoy recognition and are willing to challenge themselves in order to attain it. We are looking for candidates that have strong commercial sales experience, with a heavy focus on new business development within a short sales cycle. You’ll have experience researching and generating prospects and leads, be customer focused and have the ability to clearly communicate value propositions. You’ll be a team player, uphold our company values and be motivated by goals and targets.
