Senior Conference Producer & Team Leader

We provide solutions to influencers and decision-makers and are on the lookout for a Senior Conference Producer & Team Leader to join our growing team! The role 

No two days are the same! The Senior Conference Producer & Team Leader role is fast paced, creative and multidisciplinary.

Whilst growing and leading a team of Producers, you will be researching current affairs, topical issues and gaining exposure to some of Australia’s most significant sectors including Government, Education, Infrastructure, Aged Care, Social Services and more. By conducting phone based interview research, you will bring together key speakers, thought leaders and industry professionals to create solutions to some of the biggest challenges.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll project manage your conference from start to finish, working collaboratively across the wider team as you lead and assist with the nurturing of both your own and your teams product within the market. On the day, you will open the conference, meet your key speakers and see the impact that your conference is having in person – all produced by you!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has had at least 1-2 years full time production experience and a conferencing, communications or media background. With our support, you will be responsible for building, training and mentoring your own team of Producers. We will foster your development through ongoing training and support and ensure that we are assisting you in achieving your career goals!

What do you need to join the team?

  • A degree in Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Political Science, Social Inquiry or other relevant degree
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring and developing a small team
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade key decision makers
  • Curiosity and an interest in current affairs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • Readiness to join a fast paced, high performance team
  • Self-motivation and a drive to learn and grow
