Graduate Conference Producer (Conference Researcher)

The Role:

At Criterion we operate in 5 key sector and are focused on providing solutions to the challenges in these sectors. We want our conferences to encourage networking and information sharing, so if you’re looking for a role where you can shape the way solutions are delivered, then this may be the opportunity for you!

Working within our 20-day project cycle, you will conduct phone based research of sectors to understand their challenges and market needs. You will then use this research and your analytical skills to put together a high-quality 2-day conference to specifically target the challenges facing the sector. Senior Business Leaders, Subject Matter Experts and Thought Leaders within your conference’s market are you go to for research, so a strong phone manner is important. You will need to use your influence and relationships to secure Speakers and Facilitators for your conference. This is an incredible opportunity for those looking to apply their research, analytical, planning and relationship building skills.

About you:

We love to work with like minded people – those that are resilient and creative but also passionate about quality and are wonderfully weird! You’ll have a degree in communications, journalism, social enquiry or a related discipline, not to mention be proactive. A strong interest in current affairs is also necessary to produce timely and relevant conferences, as is an eagerness to learn. You will strive to meet goals and targets, and possess excellent communication skills. You’ll be required to work collaboratively, so a strong belief in your team is essential.
