Stories through the lens of young life – lessons learned from the lived experience of suicide

Wednesday 13th November 2019, 6:30pm onwards

In Partnership with

The insights gained through experiencing suicidal thoughts, surviving a suicide attempt, caring for loved ones through crisis or being bereaved through suicide, provide us with powerful opportunities to learn, and support people better.  This intimate fundraising dinner will hold space for a series of moving stories from young people impacted by suicide at stages of their lives, sharing their experiences and the factors that contributed to their survival, recovery and growth. We will close with a Q&A discussion focussed on how we might improve access to lived experience-led social supports for young people as a key national suicide prevention strategy.

All profits will go towards supporting the work of Roses in the Ocean to support people with a lived experience of suicide. Roses in the Ocean focuses on informing, influencing and enhancing suicide prevention through lived experience, and Criterion Conferences is pleased to be able to support them through our conference social function.

Hosted by Bronwen Edwards, Chief Executive Officer, Roses in the Ocean and Criterion Conferences

Price $149 (inc. GST) per person
