Australia’s bridges are ageing and deteriorating. They are expensive to maintain and
require a lot of technical knowledge.

The Federal Government’s Bridge Renewal Programme commits $360 million over five
years and it comes at a vital time as it provides Local and State Governments with the
critical funding to enable the renewal and replacement of their ageing bridges.

This event provided technical engineering insight and practical asset management
skills that asset owners need to understand the condition of their bridge network in order
to make the right and most informed decision about their network.
