Sara leads the Marketing team at VicSuper in building member engagement, developing user experiences, helping deliver new organic growth and positioning the VicSuper brand. Sara and her team are responsible for VicSuper’s member and employer communications and campaigns, corporate responsibility initiatives, market research, data analysis, digital marketing and the user experience.
A passionate advocate of member education and the customer experience, Sara has worked in roles across distribution, product management, strategy and marketing for institutions such as AXA/AMP, Esanda Finance, ANZ Funds Management and Plum Financial Services.
George Lucas is the CEO of Acorns Grow Australia. He has over 30 years’ experience in the investment banking and fund management industry specialising in developing, managing and issuing financial products. George was previously a director of two listed investment trusts, the Chief Investment Officer of Mariner Financial, the head of the London equity derivative trading and structuring department for First Chicago and the head trader of equity derivatives with Citibank in the United Kingdom. George is currently the Managing Director of Instreet Investment, and Chairman and CEO of Acorns Grow Australia Limited. As well as managing Acorns and Instreet, George is a regular presenter at finance industry forums and on Sky Business and an active member of the Fintech community.
Mario’s responsibilities include brand, marketing automation, and behaviour change at Australia’s largest superannuation fund. He leads a dedicated in-house team that work with diverse and incredibly talented partners to lead the way in helping all Australians achieve their best possible savings and income in retirement.
With over 2 million members and 220,000 businesses contributing to AustralianSuper, and investing more than $100 billion of retirement savings, AustralianSuper is the super fund for all Australians.
Prior to joining AustralianSuper in 2015, Mario has held several senior sales and marketing positions at iconic Australian brands Including Telstra, NOVA FM, and Village Roadshow. In his spare time Mario is an Advisory Board Member for Australian owned tech Start up Vidcorp, and is involved in two of his own ventures in the wellness and travel industries.
Peter is Chief Product Owner for the Planning for Retirement customer journey at NAB. In this role he is focussed on better helping NAB’s ~5 million consumer and wealth customers with their wealth accumulation and retirement needs. His team includes over 75 CX/UX/UI and lean process professionals, business SMEs and developers across the technology stack.
Peter’s financial services career spans over a decade and a half during which he has established new product and business lines, originated and executed M&A transactions and undertaken business transformations both in Australia and overseas, including 5 years spent in Hong Kong as NAB’s Head of Group Development.
