Anne Lyons has been a member of the National Archives of Australia senior executive since 2004, managing public access & programs, government services, information policy & assurance and ICT functions including the Archives Digital Continuity 2020 policy requiring comprehensive information management in all government business systems by 2020.
Under Anne’s leadership the Archives moved its primary service delivery to the web in 2005, dramatically increasing the public’s use of records online, and since July 2013 she has managed the Archives’ role in leading the Commonwealth’s National Digital Transition policy.
Before coming to the Archives Anne was a senior executive with the Australian Federal Police, managing marketing and communications, and spent the previous 20 years working in the media, communications and marketing fields in both the public and private sector.

Josh Pearse is the former Agency Records Manager at the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO), a position he held for 3 years. During this time he assisted the Agency in transitioning away from reliance on paper records and processes and helped the Agency meet its Future Ready goals. A large part of this strategy was to formulate and implement Information Governance practices to address the exponential increase in data volume and size of information collected as part of the ANAO’s core business.
Josh holds Bachelor’s degrees in Analytical Philosophy and Asian Studies, and is completing an Advanced Diploma of Records and Information Management.

Allan has over 26 years of experience in managing records and information, primarily in Commonwealth government and international jurisprudence environments, including at the National Archives of Australia, Attorney-General’s Department (Federal), National Health and Medical Research Council, United Nations, International Criminal Court and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Roles undertaken by Allan include: development or review of records management/record keeping strategies, policies, standards, business rules and communications plans; training program development and delivery; EDRMS implementation and administration; project management; business and systems analysis; record keeping requirements identification; records management compliance and efficiency audits, health checks and gap analyses; and developing information governance frameworks.
