Jo has been working in the Digital and agile industry for over 10 years, leading and transforming ways of working. She joined Medibank as the Head of Digital Program Delivery in February, 2017 responsible for leading the program delivery, new way of working framework and capability uplift. This has been operational for over two years, with huge benefits delivered from the newly optimised processes.
Prior to this, Jo spent 8 years at Telstra Digital, with 3 of those managing their Digital agile release train for Telstra business and wholesale customers.
Jo’s current role has transitioned into being the Head of Agility & Planning – Better Ways of Working (BWOW). The main objective is to support Medibank in implementing an enterprise agile model, enabling operational efficiencies from ideation to delivery.
Mark Simister is Head of Delivery Management at Sydney Water. Sydney Water is Australia’s largest water and wastewater service provider, supplying water, wastewater, recycled water and some stormwater services to more than five million people in Sydney, the Illawarra and the Blue Mountains – both supplying and reviving water.
Mark is currently leading the delivery of Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success (P4S) procurement strategy which will see a new Regional Delivery Consortia appointed to manage design, construction and maintenance and facilities management in each of its three regions (North, South and West) for the next 10 years.
Sydney Water has been an early adopter of the NEC4 suite of contracts to support the rollout of its new procurement strategy and is the first major infrastructure company in Australia to use the NEC4 contract approach to deliver new works, which aligns with the New South Wales Government’s recent ten-point plan for infrastructure delivery.
Mark’s Australian, UK and wider international management roles have encompassed a range of regulated and non regulated industries, including public infrastructure assets, information technology and telecommunications. Paul Bernard is an experienced Delivery and Program Office leader who has set up and transformed large project and program portfolios for both IT and Business. Paul has 30 years of experience working across State and Commonwealth government departments in sectors including education, science, environment and natural resource management, treasury, housing and public works. He has held senior leadership positions in project, program and portfolio management, strategy, policy, planning, corporate governance, communication, stakeholder engagement and managing service delivery. His current role in the Department of Housing and Public Works’ Portfolio Strategy division involves strategic policy analysis and review projects for Queensland Government.

Dr Naomi Mathers joined ICCPM in September 2018 after more than 20 years in the space industry. Naomi works across government, defence, industry, academia and education to establish collaborative projects and build the capacity needed to position Australian industry for future success. Previous projects included the establishment of Australia’s first space environmental test facility, the Advanced Instrumentation and Technology Centre (AITC) and the Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC).
Naomi sits on the boards of the DFAT Australia-Korea Foundation and the ARC Training Centre for CubeSats, UAVs and their applications, and was a Director (Deputy Chair) of the Space Industry Association of Australia.

After 25 years in the Banking industry and 4 years at Optus, Steven has taken an exciting step into the Insurance industry with QBE. As the Head of Change Management, he leads a team of people focused professionals, delivering for the employees and customers of QBE. Stevens career has encompassed many and varied roles across Financial Services and the Telco sector. Natarajan (Nat) Thangaraju is the Head of Enterprise Delivery at Medibank, Australia.
