Boris Groysberg is tenured to the Organisational Behavior unit at the Harvard Business School. He has founded a course on leadership and gender called “How Star Women Succeed,” which has been oversubscribed in the MBA program.
Professor Groysberg also teaches extensively in Executive Education programs, co-chairs the “Women on Boards” program and has taught in women’s leadership forums around the globe.
Professor Groysberg has won numerous awards for his research, which investigates how a firm can be systematic in achieving a sustainable competitive advantage by leveraging its talent and how individuals can achieve stardom. His current research focuses on star women and their strategies to achieve success and how companies leverage diversity. This work inspired his most current research project: “How Star Women Succeed.” In this project, he gathers insights into how successful women build their careers. To date, over 250 highly successful women from across the globe in senior leadership positions in corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors have participated in the study.
