Current Opportunities:

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the end to end marketing piece from concept to delivery. A very busy hand on role, you will enjoy all aspects of

 

  • Project management of conference marketing plans
  • Campaign analysis, ROI tracking and reporting
  • End to end campaign management – both online and print
  • Negotiating marketing partnerships with media, associations and  industry bodies
  • Database Management: Analysing, building mailing lists,
  • Overseeing data build projects and list research team
  • Brochure creative and copy writing
  • Liaising with external agencies – designers, mail house, printers
  • Social media campaigns
  • E-marketing development and execution and tracking
  • Lead generation campaign development
  • Presentation of tactical marketing plans

You will have a background in managing multiple direct marketing campaigns within a (B2B) Business-to-Business environment and be a well-rounded dynamic marketer. Candidates with conference marketing background desired but not essential.

 

You will have knowledge of working in a commercial environment and possess effective business communication and influencing skills.

 

In addition you will have worked on multiple projects at one time and have excellent project and time management skills.  The ideal candidate will bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm, creativity and drive to succeed.

The role of database list researcher involves building and maintaining our marketing prospect database and the role sits within the marketing team.

 

Your day to day activities involve researching of new contacts to add to our marketing database.

 

Essential skills and attributes required

  • A confident and clear telephone manner
  • A can do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Typing and data entry skills in excess of 50 words a minute
  • Tech savvy – you must knowledgeable using computers and the internet
  • An understanding of keyboard shortcuts and techniques to navigate between programs and screens quickly
  • Spelling, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Resilient and vibrant personality, tenacity
  • Fluent written & spoken English

 

Your duties include:

  • Conduct name and job title research of executives in major companies across Australia, gathering relevant information from the internet, publications, reviews and relevant market data – in this role you can’t be afraid of picking up the phone and spending 2- 2.5 hours on the phone each day
  • Conduct fact finding telephone calls to prospective companies, and potential sources in the market to identify key personnel
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all information in and placed onto the company database
  • Liaise closely with the Sales, Marketing and Production teams to ensure timely submission of data at the right quality
  • Present and record information in a timely and organised way
  • Maintain and update records on the database
  • Attend topic briefings from Managers on research requirements

 

Prior experience in Database research/Data Entry/Call Centre experience will be highly regarded.

As a conference Producer you will:

  • Identify and conduct in depth research with key industry leaders to develop conference agendas
  • Secure speakers identified as thought leaders in their industry
  • Write all conference promotional material
  • Lead and motivate cross functional teams

A successful Conference Producer will:

Prior experience in Conference Production will be well regarded, however candidates with a back ground in journalism or another research based role are also encouraged to apply.
